Atia's Project Ladybug Fund is Chicago's chapter of Project Ladybug, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to easing the struggles of childhood cancer.

Dina Manzo, host of HGTV's "Dina's Party" and former star of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey", founded the charity in New Jersey in 2007 with the wish to bring financial and emotional support to children undergoing rigorous cancer treatments and their families.

Atia's Project Ladybug Fund was named after a local Chicago girl who was diagnosed with cancer at the tender age of 17 months old. She underwent over two years of aggressive chemotherapy, and at 4 years old is in full remission and doing remarkably well.

ATIA'S PROJECT LADYBUG FUND PROVIDES:

Emergency Funding used to help families cover the cost of airline tickets, groceries, rent, transportation, utilities, prepaid cell phones, car repairs and other important items;

Ladybug Love for the Holidays providing a series of gifts to the patients, their siblings and parents for Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza and Valentine's Day;

Ladybug Comfort Baskets filled with an array of necessities designed to make long-term hospital stays more comfortable;

Ladybug Lunches feature food from local restaurants and are provided for the entire pediatric oncology ward.

$5 parking is available at The British School of Chicago's public parking garage located at Blackhawk and Halsted (entrance on Dayton). Present your parking ticket and $5 at check-in to received your parking validation card.

A Ladybug Specialty Drink will be available for purchase with a percentage of proceeds donated to Atia's Project Ladybug Fund.
